Who can become a CPA?
The qualification of a CPA is principally stipulated by the legal regulations of the respective US state, which partly vary considerably. In any event, it is required to pass the exam of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants AICPA.
In most cases German candidates with an university degree in economics should be sufficiently prepared for the examination and likely to sit for the CPA examination.
